Please re-blog because as someone who works in the field— this is something you want to know beforehand.
your local vets might offer reduced rates for some people too and a lot of them have websites nowadays so it’s worth a quick check
This is awesome.
Honestly if I didn’t have animal companions throughout my life, I probably wouldn’t be here. They don’t care how white, black, or whatever I am or am not.
Truly unconditional love.
a few years ago, i found a stray cockapoo that someone threw out of their car. he had been abused for years, we could tell, but he grew to love and trust us.
unfortunately, all that abuse took its toll and he suffered a really bad seizure one day…it was a horrible situation and we drove at high speed to the nearby 24/7 emergency vet. they took him in immediately, but it wasn’t going to be cheap.
they mentioned care credit on the spot - my dad applied and got approved right there and then so we were able to make sure our dog got all the care and attention and treatment he needed. he lasted another two years because of care credit. no, we couldn’t fix everything, but it was out of everyone’s hands after what his previous owners did to him. however, we gave him a really great life for the four years we had him.
so, from experience, care credit for sure helps in an absolute last minute emergency pinch. i’m still thankful for them.
It’s hard to maintain that military composure when one’s granny is inspecting!
I love how all the others are like ‘It’s the Queen I need to stand straighter and be more professional than I’ve ever been in my entire life’ and William and Harry are just like ‘lol hi Gran!’
I like to think she tries to make them laugh.
Reblogging because SHE’S ACTUALLY SMILING
Also Harry’s face.
this is still the best post on tumblr, forever.
